Elder scrolls online

I played two beta sessions could not get past lvl 5, I found Eso to be boring. so yea not gonna bother with this game been burnt way to many times on MMO's i now know better

Part of the problem for MMO is that the nature of what they need to achieve means that they are going to have to be limited in what they can do. ESO is a classic example of why an MMO can't live up to the detail of a single player game...particularly because it can be compared to Skyrim which came out years earlier and is better as a player experience.

Basically, single player or co-op RPGs can do so much more now than they could in the past, and have left MMORPGs in the dust due to their inherent limitations.

It'll work for some people, but for most others MMORPGs just can't replicate the quality experience that the single/co-op games can.

Methinks a revolution in the technology is required.
 
Got up to level 22 so far, did the first 4 dungeons. So far so good atleast as a co-op game. First dungeon for daggerfall covenant atleast the last boss is certainly much harder then the others.

Can you select your alliance when you join your PvP campaign as well, or can you only fight for the chosen alliance at character creation? Haven't selected a campaign yet as I want to join the same as at least one of my guilds so I can PvP with them. But that does not matter I suppose as I am Ebonheart as well.

You can only fight for those who you are.. so if you Ebonheart Pack you will stay and fight for them, does not matter what campaign you join.

Same for grouping sadly, can only join a group in PvE if they the same faction than you, only place where this is ignored is guilds, all factions can join one guild.

I would really like to buy TESO, but why did Bethesda make it so ridiculously expensive? R600? If it was R400 I would have jumped to buy it, but R600 is too much for a game that I'm not sure I'll play past the first month.
 
Oh what the heck. GMG sent me a $20 discount code, so I bought it anyway.

I don't suppose some kindly stranger in the Stellenbosch area has the game files for me? I can download it on my 2mb line, but it will likely only finish this weekend then.
