England tour to SA: 2015

The batsmen aren't breaking any sweat in getting on with things. Rotating strike more, please.

Faf takes exception to disgruntled fan

Cape Town - The Proteas appear a frustrated bunch following an incident involving a disgruntled supporter and Faf du Plessis.

According to Afrikaans newspaper, Rapport, security guards at the Wanderers had to calm matters down after a fan and the Proteas batsman threatened to get involved in a scuffle.

The incident occurred after the third Test at the Wanderers which England won by seven wickets after bowling South Africa out for a meagre 83 in their second innings.

The incident is believed to have occurred when the Proteas players made their way on to the team bus, when an upset fan started insulting them in Afrikaans.

The England bowling making the ball talk this morning. Not gonna be easy batting last on this pitch, 300 is enough I think.

Nah I reckon the ball found itself to Broad and Anderson's spikes a few times. Desperate times... :p

I was just going to ask that. Personally, I dont think 300 will be near enough if we are one bowler short.

Happy Duminy didn't get a score.

Hopefully that's the end of him as a test player.

41.2
Stokes to Duminy, OUT, drilled and edged, and Duminy departs! That was telegraphed by the previous ball, Stokes was finding prodigious swing across the left-hander's bows. No need to be drawn into an extravagant drive but he couldn't help himself. The ball was never there for the shot, hurtling ever wider towards the cordon, Bairstow gathers a thin edge with glee

Yep I guess that was Duminy`s last chance ...

willingly wanting a player to fail?

Geez, that's just messed up...

Yeah I want Duminy to do well. The guy has the talent to be a game changer but just doesn't hit the mark for SA for some reason. Nevertheless he can't be given infinite chances either, at some point we have to realise that he is blocking someone else from making their mark, especially if he is not going to bowl and is playing purely as a batsman...

I pick Dwaine Pretorius at this point. Question is who will be dropped? Bavuma or JP?

Lets not rush Dwaine please. Guy is talented but this is only the first season he has been consistently in the lions 4 day team. Give the lad another season before rushing him when he is not ready.

Stokes to Amla, 1 run, fierce lift from a very uncomfortable full length! Amla has next to no control over this reflexive jab to square leg, but it brings up his fifty. A battling innings ...

Well done, Hashim. Perhaps one of the more painful innings he has had to muster. We desperately needed stability at one end. He has provided it. I am hopeful that Temba and QDK can keep the runs coming at the other end.

Its ok that you don't think Duminy deserves a place in the team but his failings making you happy is kinda messed up.

You fool! Now they will bring Faf back!

They are both pretty useless so doesn't matter which one of the two. RR or give stian a chance in the middle order please.

Shouldn't be hoping anyone playing your team fails thought. That is like hoping someone shoots you in the foot.

I care about the team not Duminy the test player.

In the long run him failing will give someone more deserving a chance and improve the test team.
