Congrats, I think if I didn't have a phone and I wanted an android phone for a really good price, I would do this as opposed to getting a second hand, possibly laggy & out dated Android phone.

I think this is where Android really starts to shine, it really is a decent OS, this is what the Android philosophy promotes and this is one of the reasons why Android is doing so well, closing in on 1.5m activations a day, also why 1 day, global smartphone & tablet market will be even closer to 90% Android.

Although I do wonder how they get the price so low...

*Build quality
*Screen responsiveness
*Button responsiveness
*Camera + Video Quality
*Flash
*Battery life (in terms of screen on time)
...on these sub $300 phones?
 
I'm actually only concerned about the speed. Dual core 1ghz A9 isn't much to run a 1280 screen on. Any feedback?

Since Android 4.0 full hardware acceleration has been implemented. This phone is running a pretty good (albeit a bit old) GPU that's been used in a lot of phones including the iPhone 4. I don't think it'll be a problem.

My iPhone4 is still fast and responsive, and can still handle HD content. So I would concur - that CPU should be absolutely fine.
 
My G2 is on the way. I ordered the 1 with the MTK6577 Dual Core Processor. Same processor as the G3. Also 1GB RAM. Hopefully maybe another 2 weeks or so
 
Still waiting for confirmation that my JIAYU G3 MTK6577 has been shipped. :( 5 weeks & counting.
 
@cavedog: Have u tried GPS with voice navigation? Link on antelife says it has this.
