EPL 2011 Summer Transfers

Modric and Mata would be excellent signings. It would address their weakest point, creativity in midfield.
 
Arsenal begin transfer talks with Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila

Arsène Wenger has responded to Arsenal's troubled start to the season by making a bid for the Rennes holding midfielder Yann M'Vila. The manager's attempt to strengthen his team came as hopes grew that Jack Wilshere will return from ankle trouble to face Udinese in Wednesday's pivotal Champions League play-off second leg.

M'Vila, who has established himself as a regular in the France team, would cost £12m. The 21-year-old is under contract until 2015 but Rennes have allowed Wenger to talk to him. Arsenal's manager also has an interest in Sochaux's attacking midfielder Marvin Martin.

maybe they should just sign someone and then announce

You mean the media have a record of linking us to many players. ;)
 
Roma have basicly completed the signings of osvaldo and simon kjaer.

Inter are linked to forlan,lavezzi,zarate and palacio for the post eto'o. The club is looking to sign 2 of them.
 
Forlan very close to signing for inter, fee is €5 mil. Also looking at a deal for zarate.

Aqualani should move to milan on loan with the option to buy for €6 million.

Diego Coates very close to liverpool.

Yeah you guys need a bit of creativity but that would have been a bitter-er pill to swallow. But Man City is the place to be at these days:

Goran pandev on his way to napoli on loan, they have the option to make the deal permanent for €10 mil.
 
Not official yet but it seems inter have acquired Andrea Poli from samp on loan with the option to buy for €6 mil. Really like the kid so trhilled if this is true.

That means they still have 21mil left over - FROM NASRI's transfer alone.
