ESKOM Confirms Price Increase

Have a look at the profit (R6 454 million), this should be reinvested in Eskom by Eskom or government so that the cost for increasing capacity is not just passed onto the customer.

If you can afford a house,children and you can afford medical aid and have time to complain on a forum then i seriously think your response is more out of sport then anything else.

cuz seriously the way people are going on about this increase one would think they increased it by 100%.

Do you work for them or obtain commission. An increase is an increase, coupled with all the other increases in the country eg bread!!!. If I got 18.7% increase in my pay packet then I would say no problem.

Well, one newspaper is already alluding to the increase of 14% being doubled.

Anyhow face the fact increases is coming, you can do nothing about it, its like every other increase. Work it into your budget.. You would be surprised as to how much electricity you (we) all waste.. Complaining on this forum is not going to help.

Hopefully this 14% will go toward the investment of better infrastructure. But there is pretty much nothing we can do to change it.. If you don't like it build a farm with solar energy.
