We never combine price hikes for anything else, why with this? We've been getting almost monthly increases with fuel prices, but we don't combine them everytime.

Because:
a) The other increase is still not reflected on my invoices. I still pay 43c a unit
b) Eskom wanted this increase yonks ago - and only because they were turned down, did it go to debate

Retro - it is an affective overall hike. The old one hasnt taken affect yet AND I really dont understand what your issue is with referring it to the overall increase. You really shouldnt let little things like that bother you so much...

Eskom has been granted a 13.3 percent increase by the National Energy Regulator of SA today. This is in addition to the 14.2 percent increase already granted in December.
