The President also held a meeting with power station managers. He met with Eskom Chairperson Ben Ngubane, together with the board and group Chief Executive Officer, Brian Molefe. They made presentations that convinced him that load shedding was a thing of the past.

“Today I was assured that there will never be load shedding. I feel confident, we have won,” he said, while also paying tribute to the leadership at the company.

We just got hit, 12:00 - 16:30. And since we live on a hill, when the power goes, the water goes with it because JHB Water has never heard of backup generators.

Useless cnuts the lot of them...

Not sure about the walker defenses, but it is great not to worry about load shedding, and even better not to receive an Eskom bill each month.

But how would solar fix the water problem? Water still won't be pumped to the reservoir because JHB Water is still reliant on the grid.

I can do without the power, not the water...
 
I wonder what RamaCoalMine is going to say about this? What have you been telling the international investors about what your party have been doing for the SA economy? Lol, been giving it away to the Gupta's for kickbacks, haven't you? Big men, running the show, unable to even organize coal with the whole of the country's resources behind you. Fking geniuses..

We were at The Glen for lunch when it went out. Restaurants had backup power, most of the other shops closed. This is great for business and the economy...

They had a contract with Eskom to supply coal to at least three power stations, they started defaulting from last year and in March this year that's when they totally stopped supplying us with coal,

Heres a question... March... we're now in November... thats 8 months... why are supply contracts only signed now when its already a **** up?
 
Just went on in stellenbosch, then it went off here where we are in paarl.
