Thanks just not sure what suburb it is ? Falls under Group 2 or Group 13. Cant believe there isn't a place you can just enter an address and get the load shedding schedule
 
What's the persentage of working power generation capacity at 30%?
 
What I don't understand is that the very same units that is put back into service just conks out again.

Is there any oversight of the 'repairs' at all?
 
Fun times for us.
Stage 4 load shedding in pretty much the coldest time of the year and we have a newborn konfablet to keep warm. If it were not for the gas heater, baby would pretty much have to live under my jacket.

MPs haul Eskom over the coals for R4 bn overpayment on some contracts

CAPE TOWN – As South Africans make do with stage 4 power cuts, as announced by Eskom on Wednesday afternoon, Members of Parliament (MPs) have questioned the power utility’s failure to prevent overpaying up to R4 billion on certain contracts.

Eskom was in the hot seat on Wednesday when it briefed Parliament’s standing committee on appropriations on its finances.

The utility also gave members an update on investigations into former executives and companies that are alleged to have fleeced the company.

The MPs standing committee on appropriations quizzed Eskom management on how far they were in recovering the R4 billion.

They also wanted to know what the power supplier has done internally to deal with officials implicated in the overpayment.

Notice how they build all the power stations in mpumalanga. They dont want to give the western cape any independance whatsoever. Yet, the power is still fcked.

Nah another unit at the same place conks out. I mean than you've got Camden that only just had 2 units come online last week to conk out 3 days later

Goodbye to the most expensive electricity in groot Suid Afrika, where even the over 90's are made to pay a surcharge of approx R600 per month to City Power for nothing more than compensating the urban blight that takes it all for nothing. But due to official racial hatred and bias this is generically OK until death do them all part.
