Esquire "non"-operating hours

So I phone one of their consultants in a bid to find a Q9550 for myself. Ok sales person confirms that there is supposedly only 1 left. Ok great:) Can I come pickup now....? Yeah sure.
I dirve all the way there(about 50 min from me)and arrive a few minutes before 12:30. I try and go in but doors are locked..? Ok security "lady" tell me no they are only opening again at 1:30. So after standing there a few minutes and pulling my face(I suppose) its now just after 12:30 one of the people attempt to help me but says he's not willing to accept cash and cashier has ducked quite a while ago:rolleyes:
Now all I can say is I feel this is pathetic:mad:. If you truly call yourself a "progressive" company then surely you can have some SKELETON staff running while everyone else prays ? It was not only me either...there were 4 other guys waiting as well:rolleyes:
So all I can say is thanks for wasting my time Esquire. Job well done!
 
Yea sadly esquire shut down during preying hours, i also do not understand why they cannot have skeleton staff but why not just wait the hour?
 
Employ an atheist or christian who can work during those hours...

There was more than enough "staff" that were not muslim that could at least keep things going.
@killa. I can't wait an hour as I have other things to do. I had a gap where I could go do a pickup....If I waited for them then I would've been late;) Simple.
 
If you don't like their rules and systems go and buy elsewhere! I don't think the loss of a few narrow-minded customers will have a negative impact on their turnover!
 
LOL ... happened to me 2 months ago at the durban branch. A 30 minute round trip took 5hrs!

1- Got a farking puncture on the way there - had to change tyre on side of road.
2- Got stuck in traffic for 15 minutes, a truck had just overturned.
3- arrived at 12:50 - locked!
4- had to wait for 13:30 (only took 5 minutes to get what I wanted)
5- The before mentioned truck backed up traffic on the N2, tried 3 different ways to get back. man that was a shyte day!
 
Yea you should pm that esquire oke dude because i agree with you.

Trouble is the non prayers at esquire are the ones who cannot get stock, mostly in sales, the prayers are the okes who book stock out and what not. So basically they cannot actually help you because the only people who could are on their knees.

THEY DID NOT EVEN SAY THAT THEY ARE NOT OPEN BEWTWEEN THOSE TIMES. Understand..? Capiche..?
It is also not on their site as far as I could see and the salesperson did not mention it. Narrow minded has nothing to do with it. Clearly you have your finger in somewhere(And I'm sure I know where;))
And it's not up to me to keep track with the companies religious beliefs, systems and rules in this regard. M'kay...?

Damn glad you don't run a company bud, with that attitude you would be on your knees all day begging at the local spar :D.
 
And one last point. They should maybe also look a little bit into their pricing as I can see 3 normal retailers that are cheaper then them with the Q9550 now that I have had a proper look around. Aren't supplier supposed to be cheaper..?:confused:
 
As punnishement they should open on saturdays... they will pick up way more business anyway.

Half day Friday and Sat = $$
