Oh, and it's definitely not cool to bring his personal email to you into the public domain.

Fair is fair grantza

Agreed.
This is something I would never normally do.
Some of my friends have a running joke about me in that I never reveal anything to anyone - it is very accurate, there are many things told to me in confidence that are destined for the grave along with me.
Equally, it is uncool to send a personal email regards a business matter to someone at 10.30pm - especially given the tone of the mail & history behind it.

Set up a Duck Blind if Esquire is your only choice.

Fortunately esquire is not my only choice, I have never used or needed to use them before.
From time to time & I am required to source a higher volume of any particular item that a distributor had is stock, as a result, they then often have to be obtained from various distributors.

Adding esquire to the "supply chain" would have been of equal benefit to both them & myself - win-win situation.

I'm in no way excusing their behavior here, that email especially is terrible conduct.

However, even in the professional world, you can't be expected to badmouth someone in a public forum ( rightly or wrongly ) and then expect them to do business with them. At most, they are going to make a little money, but they might just be giving you more ammunition to use against them, if they feel your initial words are unfounded. It'd be the same as me getting up on stage after a Microsoft conference, grabbing the mic and telling everyone that Bill Gates has a lying, thieving ********, and then trying to buy a copy of Windows at the stall next to the stage.

Personally, after reading that comment, I would have refused you an account as well. I wouldn't have followed up with an email with such harsh words, but you can be damned sure that I'd do what it took to make sure that you took your business elsewhere. Esquire gets a bad rep on this forum, because they sell to the forumites. We are a bunch of picky, touchy, and whiny bastards, and we are the reason that other distributors don't deal directly with the customers. This is why Rectron will only sell to retailers, because then it's the retailer's job to deal with us, and all our complaints and gripes. I guarantee that if Corex were to sell to forumites like Esquire does, we would have the same amount of butthurt threads.

TL;DR
Esquire took offense, and decided not to sell to this guy. Unprofessional email was sent. If you want retail store service, go buy at a retail store.

Sure.
At the very end of that thread, probably amongst the last few posts I commented along the lines of it being better to attract bees with honey rather than vinegar.
Esquire responded (possibly even thanking me for that comment) saying they would keep that in mind in future.
Months later based upon that, I assumed we had all licked out wounds & moved on.
Had esquire not responded in any way to my "bees & honey comment", I would never have requested that the account be opened again.
I assumed incorrectly.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Esquire on numerous occasions in the past, so far they have never let me down, on one occasion they didnt have stock of a item I ordered, so they sold me the next best unit at cost price...

For me, I enjoy my interactions with Esquire.

Just hope and pray you never end up with a warranty claim with that cassim involved!

I think you should take a look at the facts:

TL;DR - However, I do agree. You're a retard if you purchase from a company like Esquire. That Mohamed Cassim guy is a joke and is known to be a tosser in the IT distribution world...

Boycott these guys, only way.

I usually don't talk about d!cks and stuff so I don't recall anything that warranted that.

Just for partaking in this thread and querying the attitude of Esquire will bring cassims ban hammer down on you! That's how he works! If ever you have a dispute with Esquire re warranty or any other and you raise the issue here on MyBB you have a 90% chance of getting the ban-hammer treatment and some abusive PM's!

I think OP was calling Mohamed Cassim out based on facts - he is a liar, he misrepresented the client's request/actions, etc. If you accept lying as part of service delivery, then you're part of the problem...

Except in this case the OP was a bit economical with the truth (he stated that the last interaction was the "vinegar & honey" message, whereas it was Mugabe's c*ck) so I can't state that he's calling Cassim out with facts.

It also raises the question about the authenticity of the rest of the post. Unfortunately we only have one half of the story here.

Go read at the two given links and see the real professionalism! ;)

I'm aware of many of the threads and the fact that a lot of the posts have been deleted but as shown by Rudimental the order in which the OP posted the comments differ from his version and it changes my opinion on the matter. Esquire could have mentioned that in his version and cleared a few things up.
