Hi All

Thank You for your support and another great day of sales, although we never broke last year’s record it was great day of sales.

The weather I am sure put off people in Midrand as all other branches exceeded last year’s sales figures

A total of 863 invoices across all branches were done today so not bad for half a day of sales

Would have loved to pick up a couple of those Asus 21" screens. Too bad I was out of town today as that was truly a bargain.
 
you could have ordered them Online , paid for them via EFT and got then delivered to you on Monday with Internet Express or collected them yourself , that is the beauty of the Online Ordering system we worked day and night to get implemented on 1st September 2011
 
If only I knew about that earlier :p Unfortunately I was too busy travelling to do that anyway. I'll be waiting for the next sale though!

Esquire. Something's off with the shipping costs. I added a small item (Card reader, cost is less than R100) to my cart just to see how the checkout process works and was quoted a bit over R300 for shipping.
 
Are you using default branch Durban or Midrand as I have seen some of the couriers cost they charging, it is much cheaper for me to use them then my own vehicles gimme a few minutes to check it out as my router is playing up , can only browse on remote desktop.

Dude use fastway or courier guy. Place order, make payment confirm stock is ready call courier.

@killadoob we also use Fastway for local deliveries, but Internet Xpress is much cheaper as they specialise on Online stores deliveries.

I saw a monitor that was delivered to southern part of JHB for R 43 this week from Midrand.
I am sure it must be just a glitch ,

I just did some test ordered flash card readers from Durban for delivery to Midrand

here is the results , always choose the Overnight delivery never Same day or Early delivery

Same Day - R 502.85
Overnight Express - R 62.70
Budget Courier - R 75.24
Road Freight - R 75.24
Public Holiday - R 507.19
Saturday - R 240.77
Early Delivery - R 240.77
After Hours - R 507.19
Embassies & Consulates - R 795.21

Yes, I did select the Durban branch (Closest to me) and overnight express was the only shipping option available.

I live just 10KM away from the Durban branch, don't mind driving there. I think there's something wrong with how the shipping costs are calculated though.
 
O 10km's geez using a courier would be silly then, they need to collect drop at depo and then drop at you, much faster and cheaper to just jump in the car and go :D.
 
@Silverlight I am sure I worked out the issue, it looks like the Postal code was not matching from the Online and our back office system, I simulated the issue and also just got one option, I have added it and now give three options, I will still get my developers to look into it on Monday, thank you for this issue, as I am sure we will be getting more queries like this and would like to nip it in the bud as they say.
 
So far I've been really impressed with the service from Esquire!

x2 Apart from the prices the service is better than what I get even from the likes of Prophecy/Wootware. Mostly because if I want it I get it the same day.
 
Bought a few bits for the GF,well worth the trip,we were the last ones to leave the midrand Xpress shop,everybody was waiting :o
