Eugene Terre'blanche murdered

Why is that? How difficult would it be to overthrow a bunch of morons with an incompetent police force/defense force? Intelligence (unfortunately for your statement is heavily in favor of the NEW right (read WHITES))...

Exactly!

See it's already starting..... propaganda. I have done quite a bit of reading on what makes South African politics tick and what has been done under the excuse of politics etc. but I don't recall the AWB ever bombing anything. I know there were a couple of guys that wanted to do something about railroads a while back. Can any of you shed light on the accusation in this story from IOL?

EDIT: Nevermind found related information

But then again - there is no official report linking these bombings to AWB orders so under the same banner as "kill/shoot the boer" isn't officially ANC according to the media.... I find it terribly funny how things are twisted to suit the situation. The pen so much mightier than the sword.

You are confusing yourself.

"Kill the Boer" is not freedom of speach a court has already rulled on that.

There is a big difference to siding with a group who you support and being vocal about it and calling for mass Genocide ;)

Riight.

Two of these ' morons ' killed the leader of the Great SA Resistance in his bed.

As I've said before , the numbers have it. If you get to kill around 8 of them before they get you then it won't be difficult.

And when you run out of bullets how good are you with an assegai and panga ?

Out of those 8/1 ratio 6 are living in shacks and have no form of formal education/Weapons

2/1 is an easy ratio since SA had a KD ration of 26/1 in most of our wars pre-1994

You can be flagged as a terrorist simply by implying that you agree with a course of action..... In todays electronically monitored environment it is stupid to do so.

Geez dude - round here, as long as you don't post anything that says you might be investigating the business deals of an ANC member, you're pretty safe.

The two who killed the leader of the Great White Resistance - what formal education/weapons did they have ?

Rwanda, Uganda, Congo, Somalia - bloodshed requires nothing, just a will to kill.

Hope it goes better than it did against Bophuthatswana...

You should read the thread (content edited from other posts). You are judging from the past where the continent was used as a proxy battlefield against communism, so the enemy forces had the advantage of Russian and Cuban (and Chinese?) leadership, equipment and advice (and fighters?). The USSR is no more. The State President can technically deploy SA troops but (IMO) other elements also need to be factored into the potential for civil war. Consider:

#1 Non-blacks overwhelming hold any positions in logistics involving skill. The mechanised and technical elements of the SANDF will grind to a halt rapidly. Any war effort will depend, to a great extent, on logistics, airpower and technical know-how. Non-blacks overwhelmingly, fill these positions. And if there is no competent logistics…

#2 Consider a SANDF where the embittered ‘whites’ have been passed over for promotion etc. in spite of years of loyalty (AA for MK & APLA cadres). They are not going to be loyal and perpetuate a status quo where they stand to be discriminated against.

#3 There will be tremendous negative pressure on serving whites from friends and relatives.

#4 International mercenaries would be relatively easy to recruit. Governments may deplore the civil war but, because the situation is so bad, will not make more than a token show of stopping recruitment.

#5 There will be many SA volunteers. These are not the paunchy, brandy & coke swilling indulgers of right-wing rhetoric over the braai. However repugnant their ideology is considered, many of the younger bunch were very good soldiers (the extreme right wing may offer their combat services for free).

#6. Any support will have to be clandestine or be exposed as supporting a racist, discriminatory and autocratic regime.

#7. And so on…

...good luck to the white supremacists in overthrowing the black supremacists.

Maybe it won’t only be white supremacist AWB supporters. There is a danger that things are so out-of-control in SA that there is the risk of a fearful and frustrated population (black & white) following a right-wing demagogue, not because they swallow some neo-apartheid ideology but simply because they want a more competent government (rather snipe at a right-wing government in a working country). There have been HUGE sacrifices made in the name of democracy (which could be wasted if precipitate action was taken). Many have put-up with a lot of sh*t in the last few years. I would imagine that the camels back is pretty close to breaking. Maybe this incident of thuggish savagery is the trigger. Normal people will probably say “F**k it! (the ballot box). This has got to stop, let the cards fall where they may”.

I find it painful to agree but I have to - sheer numbers will always be the victor unless you have extremely good odds with say tanks, combat planes etc.... none of these are available. Watch black hawk down again and realize what will happen should this envelope be pushed.

Massive difference to having an Afternoon nap and be killed in your bed, than trying to kill a war ready armed man with a Knobkierie and Panga not so?

Do you guys think if the government arrests Malema for inciting violence against a racial group and he goes to a hardcore prison for a long time this would calm things down a bit? Lets say they make an example of him. What do you think?

I keep hearing this and I'll be damned but I can't think of any that I have made.
Perhaps Cape Town is on a different planet but post-1994 life just carried on.

Yup, some things improved some deteriorated - comme ci comme ça.

Anyone out there want to share ' sacrifices ' ?

It solves 2 problems:

1. Malema is not killed and no Civil war starts
2. He will be made to STFU

One other problem it will create:

1. He will be able to add Jail to his C.V. and be able to become a leader in SA :(

Yup - for a while.

Reminds me of kung fu movies when the bad guys surround the good guy, then attack him one by one.

That only happens in the movies. Even Jackie and Chuck would be toast if they all attacked at the same time.

Him and Jub Jub could share KFC.

Nu uh - Chuck is untoucable :D

Malema must NOT be harmed under any circumstances. The same goes for ANY ANC or triparty affiliates or support groups.

Why ever not? He is a piece of s**t and will serve admirably as a trigger for a civil war. Medicine tastes nasty but cures you. Or do you prefer the crapulous status quo?
