Eugene Terre'blanche murdered

Why ever not? He is a piece of s**t and will serve admirably as a trigger for a civil war. Medicine tastes nasty but cures you. Or do you prefer the crapulous status quo?

I can think of far bigger pieces of s**t way more deserving of being rubbed out than Malema.

To go to war over a fat tw^t who would probably pee his pants in a one on one fight is hardly the stuff of real soldiers.

Guys, I spent faaar too damn long in the townships in the 90's. It was pretty exciting at times - the scenery changed, & they let me play with explosives - but it really wasn't good for the health of this country, and I saw too many people die, saw too much misery & suffering to ever want to go back to that again. So how about we stop with this **** about killing Malema, ok? As much as you might want to blame him for killing Terreblanche, having him whacked is not the way to deal with this. You want to fix the system? Then fix it legitimately. Get out there. Vote. Convince other people to vote, get involved in community policing, join the police yourself if you don't trust them to do the job. Do something *positive* and *contribute* to your country. Fix the problems you perceive the right way, instead of just making more of them, ok? It sure as hell won't be easy, but it beats the crap out of the alternative so many people here seem to want.

Because I really don't want to have to go back to a situation where my fellow citizens are shooting at me, and I'm having to shoot back at people I'm sworn to protect.

Nope. Don’t agree at all. There is a difference between exerting minimum force against SA citizens who are trying to harm you (your situation) and killing everything that moves (much easier, although damaging to the psyche).

I keep hearing this and I'll be damned but I can't think of any that I have made.
Perhaps Cape Town is on a different planet but post-1994 life just carried on.

The sacrifice has involved gritting your teeth and doing nothing at brutal and thuggish farm murders (actually any murders), torture, rape and the spiraling crime rate. Corruption, criminality, the destruction of the country, bufoonery, etc. etc.

Reminds me of growing up under apartheid.

It's just the colour of the clowns that is different.

Seriously, have the farm killings, the corruption etc really cost you personally any sacrifices or do they just get up your nose like they do to most of us ?

You are not going to war over the fat twat. His verbal diarrhea combined with the Terre’blanche murder serve as TRIGGERS to a civil war that brings a better dispensation than the ANC.

And what would that dispensation be ?

When all the smoke has cleared and the bodies buried they will still outnumber you ten to one.

The family of the 15-year-old was shattered by his arrest and feared for their safety.

The boy's father said: "I have nowhere to go, but I am scared that my family is going to be attacked. I still don't know what got into this boy because he has caused such a huge problem for the community, not just his family."

He said his son told them there was a fight because Terre'Blanche refused to pay them. "I still don't believe that boy killed Terre'Blanche," he said.

Family and neighbours told The Mercury the boy was quiet and had worked full-time for Terre'Blanche from 14.

Another farmworker described how he went to work on Saturday as usual with the two workers who were later arrested. Jacob Lepondo, 17, said Terre'Blanche had failed to pay them all at the end of the month and they had asked Terre'Blanche's wife for payment, but she did not have money.

Lepondo went home, but as the other two had to continue working, they went back to the farm.

"He was willing to pay them. I don't know what went wrong when they got to the farm," said Lepondo.

"I heard he was attacked with a knife and a tool we use on the farm," he said. "I'm saddened by his death. He used to buy clothes for me and give me R50 every weekend."

Just remember all that stuff was there before Apartheid, and the only difference now is that things have been spread out a bit. Everyone is getting a taste - not just the people in the townships.

Odious as corruption is, it's not an excuse to start a civil war. And even if you did, what would the teams be? Whites vs blacks? Liberals vs liberators? Stupid vs stupider? Morons vs morons? Racists vs racists?

I could go on, but you get the point. Obviously I know you don't want a civil war, you're just playing devil's advocate - and that's fine! We need people to make statements like yours. That way, we can see how ridiculous it would be to make the knee-jerk reaction we all want to make.

He got his dues , I feel no pity for Eugene or his family . He was an evil person and deserved the way he went out . May his bigoted hillbilly soul wonder in a realm of never ending pain and sorrow .

You may well have agreed with something I said earlier but I wholeheartedly disagree with you here! His family deserve our condolences. If you feel that way about Eugene it would be interesting to hear your views on Malema?

I dont care about malema , this redneck was taken out and I am happy . You should be happy too , he was a blemish on you white folk .

So why does a white racist concern you so much but not a black racist? Malema represents the political party you so proudly support. He should be of more concern to you than an ageing leader of a weak opposition party.

And what would that dispensation be ?

A dispensation where the ANC doesn’t have things all their own way. Where crime and corrupt politicians are penalised. Where AA works as it is supposed to (not if you just have a black face and ‘connections’). Where moronic decisions are not implemented and can be vetted. And so on.

When all the smoke has cleared and the bodies buried they will still outnumber you ten to one.

It’s not a numbers game. Provided the killing hasn’t alienated the ANC, future political action must be transparent and leaders must be accountable. Otherwise the medicine is repeated until the numbers reach manageable proportions.

The world didn't like us playing doctor the last time around and they won't like it if we try again.

Advocating wiping out opponents till they reach manageable proportions belongs in Steve Seagal movies, not real life.

Eugene represented what I hate most in this cultural supremacy. The way he treated his labourers is the way he thought he could treat any `******`, look at what he got from a dangerous kid . He thought he was from superior race but he still died in great pain from the people he hated most . To him a blackie was a tool he could use for his labour .

How do you know HOW Eugene treated his labourers?... What I got from the story is that he actually treated them with some respect and dignity in terms of buying them things they needed.

1. he did not pay them on time
2. What did he go to jail for , didnt he kick one of his workers in the nuts ?

1. That is all based on heresay and you have no proof of that.
2. He went to jail for assaulting a garage attendant if I remember correctly, that has nothing to do with his farm workers.

And that makes it OK? Was it ever as bad as this?

Odious as corruption is, it's not an excuse to start a civil war. And even if you did, what would the teams be? Whites vs blacks? Liberals vs liberators? Stupid vs stupider? Morons vs morons? Racists vs racists?

What is? [an excuse] The teams would be corrupt scumbags vs South Africa.

Obviously I know you don't want a civil war, you're just playing devil's advocate - and that's fine! We need people to make statements like yours. That way, we can see how ridiculous it would be to make the knee-jerk reaction we all want to make.

I see no solution except civil war. There are only 2 options.

#1 The government implements IMMEDIATLY a more reasonable dispensation to be in force before the end of 2010. This does **not** involve holding meetings about meetings to decide on the colour of the walls.

#2 Civil war. The downside is that reconciliation will be impossible after so much killing.

I can’t see our incompetent leaders going for option #1.
