Yeah, amazing how the boring old iDevices are still the benchmark on which every manufacturer measures their own products.
Keep in mind that a benchmark - as you state Apple products to be - can be higher or lower than the thing you are measuring. Sea-level is a benchmark and Joburg is 1600m above it. iPhone is the benchmark ... so where is the S3 when you measure it against the benchmark? I say higher.

The benchmark is the high point at the exact present moment. iPhone 4S set the benchmark when it came out, but at a lower level than the iPhone4 had set the benchmark the previous year. So it didn't take too long before it was surpassed from a hardware POV (probably that was the Galaxy Nexus), and now the benchmark is the SGS3.

Yep the usual fanboys just never stop....it is quite irritating.To be honest I'll be surprised if Apple come out with anything useful yet innovative on the iphone 5.The 4 inch screen will be more useful yes but not innovative as they will obviously claim.
Doubt we'll see much new that hasn't been done on other phones already. I'm keen to see what this whole new edge to edge screen is about on a new motorola about to be launched,and nokia is apparently making a lumia with wp8 and pureview.
Lol is it also over priced like their other devices?
