Did you have tune to run 144hz? I heard 120hz stock and you do something to get it run at 144hz
Nope Windows picks up 144hz no problems, as long as you're through displayport, on hdmi 75hz is the fastest.
I've got my work laptop hooked in via hdmi and my PC in via displayport. Which it does come with, was very relieved though it's short like 1 meter so the cabling behind my desk is a mess now.

Tested what? The LG, have had mine since Monday, gaming is beautiful, though did take a 20fps knock on Far Cry from 1080p to 1440p but that 71fps is gorgeously smooth. Just Cause 3 is a spectacular game at 100FPS.
GPU?

1660Ti, though this monitor is now making me eye a 2060 or higher, but my wallet is in recession :-(. This monitor + the 1600AF, mobo and RAM combo from the beginning of April has cost me 12k.

So my 2060 Super should be able to drive this at 1440p?

Yup don't see why not, I mean I get over 60fps on my 1660Ti without a problem. I just got it for the 1440p and also due to having to set Vsync in a few games as the screen tearing could be annoying. Oh also 1080p at 27" isn't bad, but it's not ideal. This monitor is a lot clearer even if it's 5" bigger.
Oh it's also not super thin like my old Asus 27" was, it's not super thick either.

But yes, after getting the gpu, realising my psu isn't up to the task, and buying a new one (that I'm still waiting for), my wallet isn't up to a new screen at the moment. But a 1440p high refresh rate one is on the list.

I am still using a Samsung 23inch 60Hz screen I bought back in 2008/2009. But it has never given me a single issue, so it is difficult to justify a new screen, except for the "want" factor.

Eish your 2060 super is going to tear through that like a hot knife through butter. Also does it even had HDMI or is it still using DVI?

It has hdmi. It is a 1080p screen. In CoD Warzone with everything at high, I get more than 120 fps.

On BF V, with rtx and all the bling enabled, I get 80 fps. But I haven't tested it more than that.

I was tired of struggling with my 1060-3GB....

I'm using a Samsung 24" Curved 60Hz 1080P and I'm in a similar position as you. Luckily a friend offered me his 1080P 144Hz for a bargain so that's what I'm doing at monthend.

At 1440p you'll see a drop in BF V as RTX is really draining on a 2060.

How big is the 144hz screen? Cause 27" 1080p is just on the border of acceptable for dpi

To be honest, rtx is a bit gimmicky. I know it will kill performance, but I don't mind switching it off and rather getting the extra fps.

It does still look pretty good, but if you're getting 60+ on 1440p that's still acceptable in my books.
