eXpansys FAIL!

Just tried an email to thier compaints department, lets see if that matters ?

Hi there,

I would like to think a different person gets this mail to the tracking department
I would love for you to look at the tracking for this shipment.. as there has basically been no commincation from your guys unless prompted by me, and this delivery is way past the 5days estimated

But I basically get told.. well maybe tomorrow, and if you dont get it, try and contact us again. ?

Shouldn't you be contacting me every time something doesn't go to plan and keeping me in the pciture, as to manage my expectation.

Or should I just sit back and wait as per your previous email?

Sounds like a wonderful place to do business with.

Guess if I got the tracking mail.... just called them 8:05 is outside their business hours of 8:am -
5pm

Called at 8:20.. still answermachine..

Called a 8:30.. Got the voice prompts now been on hold for the tracking dept for 3 min..

I got my cargo... but its doest make it ok.
A company that is now willing to talk to its customers or answers emails...
I wonder how good this is for the international Expansys image.. considering they are a listed company.
 
I had similiar issues using Expansys in aus... say it's in stock...when it isn't...and you wait weeks with no communication.
 
If you haven't gotten it by now you probably never will.

They reckon it is currently in their warehouse in France on route to SA!!!

What's irritating is I ordered 2 of these covers direct from Switcheasy. The process didn't even require a login or registration on their site. Click purchase, pay with Paypal and they dispatch to the address linked to the Paypal account. The goods were delivered to my front door via Fedex, from Hong Kong, within 7 working days!!

It cost me close to double (R130 vs R240) but minus the aggravation.
 
I ordered a sigma lense for a canon camera from expansys, all the reports had me worried but saving R1000 made me order anyway. the time was longer than stated on the web site but I knew I had to be patient. every time I emailed the track order email address they gave me feedback I recieved my goods on 2-04-2012 and it was ordered on 07-03-2012 not to long wait.. Thanx expansys will use you again
 
Oh I got a refund about 3 days ago. 6 weeks later they best they can do is a refund. No apologies, just a refund. Crap company. Won't do business with them again if I can possibly help it.

This seems kind of convenient - one post on hellopeter - register here and one post... all that effort just for one company?
 
And yet again Expansys shows exceptionally pathetic service...

I ordered 2 items listed as "Expect Stock in 10 Days from order" and paid on the 20th of August. Then I received this on the 23rd:

"Your order status is "Awaiting Stock transfer from Expansys International Warehouse""

Yay!

I allowed 3 weeks to pass before querying the order status, to be sent this:

"... have unfortunately not arrived with us as expected. The
revised arrival date for your item to arrive in JHB is +- 20-25 September. Once the
item arrives in JHB it will need to clear through customs before being delivered to
our offices.

We understand that your order will now be significantly overdue based on the
initial estimate provided.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused, we appreciate
your patience and understanding tremendously."

So how-da-wiggy does an order go from "Awaiting stock transfer" to "did not arrive as expected" 3 weeks later???

So they get to enjoy the payment I made immediately, whilst I'm stuck with NOTHING for a month?
