Dad no doubt played a roll, but there are worse drivers on the grid
Mazespin is gone. Only Latifi. Maybe Russell who can't seem to stop taking drivers out. I guess he knew he was mostly to blame yesterday which is why he didn't hop on the radio to blame Sainz.

That said, I felt for Vettel. A couple of other teams had their left front gun jam, which was weird. He was in the pound seats for a decent points haul. AMR have managed to wring some pace out of that car for him to have made up 5 places in 8 laps. He drove a stellar race.

The ****ery on fb is just downright scary.
If you go on Twitter, you'll find most of those CRASHtappen/FRAUDMILton/Not in the top 10 drivers in my books bunch of nobs all registered in from February 2021 onwards. They're either low-life/low IQ trolls, or new "F1 fans" with nothing else to do but clog up a Twitter feed.

I think Max stopped a bit over his line in the pit box. But as said, left front were the problem mostly.

He might have, but the jack was problematic. Happened with him as well as Vettel, and I think 1 other driver if I remember correctly.
A couple of races ago something similar happened. And I know that at Monaco last year, Bottas's nut was welded to the tyre on the left hand side too.

You're right actually, there's some truly brainless comments on there that
look like Albert Einstein.

Jeez it's bad. I don't like Hamilton, but I will say the bots calling him FRAUDmilton act as if they've only got about 10 brain cells. Like the same bots calling Verstappen CRASHtappen.
You have to wonder what the hell is going on with society, or if it's too much in-breeding going on leading to stupid people.

I've lost track of the amount of childish nick names both of them have gotten.

...and then if you hop onto the Proteas Twitter page, it's a bunch of India/Pakistani/Bangladeshi trolls calling each other out, mocking the Proteas and telling AB they want to meet him and that they love him.
Ridiculous.

Actually, the left front wheel gun sensor did not trigger that the correct torque was applied. The mechanic had a second go at it before using the spare gun which then released the car.

I think there was more to it. When the left front wheel gun man tried to remove the wheel, he had to have 2 goes at it. That wouldn't be torque sensor related. That gun had clearly just checked out of the race...

Further to this, there is 1 thing that Max has room for improvement, in my opinion, and that is suppressing his anger towards his team and mechanical issues. I am a massive fan, but it was not pleasant to hear him ranting about the wheel gun issue. He needs to go easy and remember that this is a team sport. Win or lose, but do it together as a team. Yes, it is 100% ok to be frustrated when an issue like that drops him from an easy lead, but it must suck to be part of the team and hear that after all the great things the team has done over the last 2 years.
