He definitely sounded like he was. I listened to it and thought "That engineer literally only cares about the car now". One too many shunts, Danny Ric...
 
Danny Ric is a legend. He brings the social aspect of the sport to life. When he wins, the whole world celebrates. He's not one of those drivers you look at on the top step and think 'what a knob'.

That's true. And that's great for him, and the sport. But it is a sport. It's competitive and he isn't. It's fast and he isn't.

His teammate with tonsillitis beat him by 4 places last race and besides a couple successes, he's been nowhere at McLaren.

I love the guy, but he either needs to shape up or ship out as he's currently hogging one of only 20 drivers slots and there are other drivers who are younger and potentially faster who would jump at a chance.
 
Any bets on how many Ferraris will finish the race? :p
