He's progressed from being grateful for having a drive, to being sullen because his team mate is outshining him.

Red Bull play open cards and even Christian Horner has let slip that the team can only work with 1 Alpha driver and the other needs to play a supporting role. That was what happened when Daniel Ric left. Max developed into the Alpha and Daniel could see how that was turning the team vibe.

But it makes sense to me as a winning formula. Yes it sucks, but considering how many years RB has been plugging away behind Mercedes since the Vettel good 'ol days, can you blame them for rather choosing their Alpha and throwing the whole team and second driver behind him? I don't....

IMO, yesterday's race was Perez's to lose. He started from second person on the grid, in a much better car than the rest. He recovered well from a poor start, but he is simply not good enough to beat his team mate...

Agreed. If Perez wants to push for some level of equality in the team (which I'm not sure he does), he can't be beaten by 20 secs by a teammate who started at the back of the grid.

I think Checo is feeling the pain of driving a car designed to suit Max's driving style and he knows that won't be changing any time soon ,at the beginning of the season the car was more neutral and he was able to compete with Max.Having said that, I take nothing away from Max as it takes a special talent to drive a pointy car fast.

Trucks arriving at Zandvoort. Apparently people were waiting for them since 4:30 AM

Get rid of DRS all together and let the drivers race!
I agree with this. The closer following distances allowed by the new aero mean the Drs boost isn't needed any more. The slipstream should be enough.

Not sure that'll be enough, everyone will just run low downforce and struggle to pass a Williams like this past weekend. Overtaking will have to happen in the corners, which is the case anyway today, and we're back to the Schumacher era where qualifying determines the result.

I personally favour x amount of uses per race. Let the driver play a part in his strategy...
