I reckon they did the right thing yesterday in following the rules. The uproar is silly because the FIA have done the correct thing by following the rules, though it's understandable because it's a shift to how it ended last year and people are still salty about it.So what should then have happened yesterday?
The result is the same, Max won. The uproar is because Max won, same as last year...The uproar is only because it is a different result to how it was (incorrectly) done last year. The action was correct in that it followed the rules. The rules need a change.
Pretty sure Ferrari supporters were supporting Max against Lewis last year? The result is the same, Max won. The uproar is because Max won, same as last year...
The uproar isn't from Ferrari supporters. I only see Lulu supporters moaning in this thread...Pretty sure Ferrari supporters were supporting Max against Lewis last year?
When did we start talking about the booing? I'm still on the hypocrisy of fans wanting to complain about both Abu Dhabi and Monza page. Are you being obtuse - what happened was according to the rules. We're discussing the reason for the booing.
I think pretty much everyone would've preferred it that way but alas, tantrums were thrown last year so they stuck to the letter of the law this time. Loved Gasly's honesty though when he said on the post-race show he's glad it ended under the SC as he was on old hards and the guys around him were on newish softs. The booing was stupid yes. I am a RBR/Max fan and would have preferred racing for the final laps instead of how it did finish. Anyways, doesn't matter there will always be fans of whoever drew the short-end of a straw that will be upset and take it further than they should.
Mick getting his elbows out. He has definitely developed as a driver this year.I really enjoyed this.

2022 Italian Grand Prix: Schumacher and Latifi trade places three times in one lap
Mick Schumacher forced his way past Nicholas Latifi, only for the Williams driver to take the place back, forcing Schumacher to overtake again as he eventually claimed the position.www.formula1.com
Because this thread is representative of the booing at Monza which is overwhelmingly Ferrari? The uproar isn't from Ferrari supporters. I only see Lulu supporters moaning in this thread...
They were booing at Ferrari for having a normal race. The entertainment factor was missing this week...Because this thread is representative of the booing at Monza which is overwhelmingly Ferrari?
Sorry, what? They were booing at Ferrari? They were booing at Ferrari for having a normal race. The entertainment factor was missing this week...
That's scary. Just imagine a fire on board and he can't help himself because he is not race fitlol @ Nyck being lifted out of the cockpit because his arms had given up

I can totally believe it. I know how broken I was after doing 10 laps of kyalami in a road car.lol @ Nyck being lifted out of the cockpit because his arms had given up
In such a scenario I am sure adrenaline kicks in and take over, the muscles would work even if they are trying to prevent too much further damage. That's scary. Just imagine a fire on board and he can't help himself because he is not race fit![]()
I think he has done enough this race to prove it. Maybe pull Latifi for the rest of the races and give NdV a decent run. That said, NDV was a champ in yesterday's race. I truly hope he gets a seat for next year.
