Nearly 24 hours ago, Supersport reported that Charles Leclerc had 'reportedly' signed a contract extension with Ferrari which will see him through to the end of 2029. Nothing though on formula1.com so not sure if F1.com is just slow or Supersport jumped the gun in reporting something that hasn't been confirmed (it was them after all that prematurely ran the article a few months ago that Heath Streak had passed away). Will wait and see what materialises.
EDIT: I see planetf1.com ran a similar article on the 3rd of December but again, the word 'reportedly' is injected. I guess formula1.com is waiting until it is officially announced and not jumping to speculation.

LOL I can see a few things that will break these cars if that's accurate.
I only hope they upgrade the graphics before the race.
The source is a Italian newspaper and is said to be very, very reliable. Lots of details to the contract. Huge payday.
It has also risen to speculation about Sainz. Why did he not sign, does this mean he is going, does it mean they don't rate him, will he be replaced in 2026 by X, Y or Z.

I certainly hope they have 2 races else we are replacing one of the Best Racing Circuits with another Street dreary Race. FoM are seriously trying to destroy F1 and all it stands for.....
But they they don't care about F1 long term just the short term Profit.
Once figures start falling they will sell the rights for F1 and move on.

Too many street/hybrid tracks now imho. Might be to create a night race in Europe that makes it more time friendly for the US.

Not sure. Probably because she's Toto's wife and therefore a woman and therefore yielding to the pressures of her male husband or something. I don't know, it's a bit emotional. Still, fairly strong words.

Because it implies that Toto wears the pants and she couldn't possibly be independent on a business level I guess.
What I don't get is how she got the job in the first place. If people couldn't see a conflict of interest from the get-go, why bring it up now as if it's new?
