Why is it so difficult to apologise for crashing into Daniel Ricciardo, Lance Stroll?
Lance Stroll doubled down on pointing the finger at everyone but himself after driving into someone else under the Safety Car.www.planetf1.com
My gut is that Lance's roll will remain until the goal is greater than 5th in the championship and they have a car which is winning races and he isn't on the podium. Until then excuses and benefit of the doubt will always be in Lance's favour.Stroll snr surely can't be serious about this team if he continues to keep his son in that seat. I know that he has said numerous times that he is committed to bringing Aston up to a winning team yada yada, but as long as his idiotic son is there they will never be a championship contending team.
He has no motivation to do better because he is not fighting for a seat. Everyone else apart from Max and Lewis is continuously fighting to be there year on year and that brings out the best in them. Some fall away and others excel, but at least they are trying to be better.

Stroll’s own future – being on a rolling contract racing for the team owned by his billionaire father – isn’t yet confirmed, but Mike Krack said there’s no doubt where the Canadian driver will be if he wants to be there.
“We know that Aston Martin is Lance’s home,” Krack said, coming into the Chinese Grand Prix.
“We know that and the whole project has always been around him.
So, double DNF after running 16th and 17th for 24 laps?
So an Alpine then?
Let's hope not. For my fantasy team's sake. So, double DNF after running 16th and 17th for 24 laps?
They need a racer foremost as a team boss. Vowles may be great for the business end but he sounds like he's responding as part of a case study on corporate management with the simplest of questions. Almost as if the lesson is get the processes in place and they'll win races. That team has suffered from years of extremes in management and hasn't found the sweet spot. It's crazy to look at that list, think of their past successes and then see them floundering like a rookie team.
To be fair, Claire killed them when Frank moved onThey need a racer foremost as a team boss. Krack has no option but to play the game with the cards he's been dealt.Or forever, if the team principal can be believed.
She's part of the extremes imho.To be fair, Claire killed them when Frank moved on
It's either that way or the Otmar Szafnauer way...Krack has no option but to play the game with the cards he's been dealt.
she inherited a broken team and made it worse for sure.To be fair, Claire killed them when Frank moved on
What are you on about, Mclaren is ahead of Merc and has been for some time now...there is potential for williams to be fighting at the front again, but I feel much like Mclaren they will never be able to compete at the sharp end unless they get a power unit supplier that is not already a constructor.
