It was bought out by a Media / Marketing company, now buildup time and Marketing opportunities is far more important than the actual event start time :whistle:

Argh, I have been watching movies, as I thought the build up would be at 2:30 and the race start at 3:30pm. Time to watch Rogue One again lol
 
Sounds like van Doorne's McHonda has reached its expiry time and died after he made a serious mistake...

Apparently he started the car :crylaugh:

Yep, not even on the grid yet. Maybe they want to start from the Pit to minimise the time the PU runs for.

Update - Alonso will not be running - New PU has also failed :(

So both McLarens are out before the formation lap?

It's pathetic that Honda is this bad, it's not like it's their first race out..

Same with Sky, Looks like the Pit Lane reporter was looking at the wrong car when he said Alonso's car.
 
^, he was on the dirtier side...probably less traction made the difference.

Bottas didn't mess it up...good on him.

Man, I like this order at the moment...Hamilton sandwiched between two drivers who can take him with Kimi coming along to join the party.
