Well, yes. His request was, if Bottas wasn't in the fight with Stroll, he could do with some help - this is where I'm quite comfortable with some team orders - if you can help your team mate without sacrificing your own championship, then why not? The answer came back to Lewis that Bottas could catch Stroll and that was that. Lewis was the first to congratulate Bottas after the race.
Besides, what does that have to do with the discussion about Vettel playing bumper cars?
Also, was it not Lewis that braked when entering the pits earlier on? People seem to look past Hamiltons actions, and treat him as if he does nothing wrong.

Like I said, not the 1st time he did slammed on the brakes or tried holding somebody up

Some people just let their dislike for a driver cloud their judgement and make up things to suit an alternative scenario to what the facts have already established.

And as already been posted (more than once) the telemetry and data that the FIA have has shown he did nothing of the sort.

The fault lies 100% with Vettel.

Yeh but people pretend as if Lewis never does anything wrong. The moment Seb does something, everybody jumps on him.

He did what he did the SC before and what every self respecting driver would do - back the pack up before opening the throttle to go racing again. He has to ensure that they don't pass the safety car before a certain point, otherwise you are penalised.

The Formula 1 stewards at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix found no evidence in telemetry data of Lewis Hamilton either brake-testing or lifting off unexpectedly in his clash with Sebastian Vettel.
The FIA investigation, conducted during the race, showed that Hamilton had behaved exactly the same in that area of the track at both the controversial restart and the incident-free one before.

With a long run up between the following Turn 16 and the safety car line, Hamilton had to back off to ensure that he did not break the rules by overtaking the safety car before he was allowed.

If Seb is so innocent and Hamilton so evil why has seb already accumulated 9 penalty points and Hamilton's card is clear?

And the relevance to the topic under discussion?

If a person who didn't like Vettel wanted to they could also dig up incidents on him, most successful racers will have been involved in a few.

Having had a quick look he has 2 points. Ironically for driving too slowly in the pit lane.

^^In fact it's precisely Hamilton's behavior on the track that prevented him being penalised by passing the Safety Car after the line.

He had 2 points they expire in 12 months so his card is currently clear.

Where did you find the data, I was not able to get a breakdown by driver when I searched?

EDIT Just noticed that Hamiltons points have not expired, in fact they have not yet be allocated, he only gets those for a penalty next year.
I hope you didn't find the info on a bookies web site :crylaugh:

Look I admire the skill that Vettel and Hamilton has but not really a fan of either , I just think there are better drivers in underperforming cars .

Impressive to see so many ahead of Crashtor Maldonado, though I suppose not racing for the last two seasons has balanced things out a bit. :whistle:

I'd love to see Alonso back at Ferrari in place of Seb, but know that the team need some younger talent. :(
 
Meh...Alonso is another whiny driver. He had his chances at Ferrari but chose to dismantle a Championship winning team that saw top Ferrari men switch over to Mercedes.
