Lots of drama in P2


Felipe Massa has now stopped his Williams at Turn 11. Gear problems for the Brazilian
 
Valtteri Bottas posts a 1:24.1 to go fastest....but Lewis Hamilton again blows the Finn's time out of the water with a 1:23.620! There's that half-second gap between the two drivers again.

And, for those who like to see a record being broken, Hamilton's lap is within a tenth of the fastest EVER around this Albert Park circuit.
 
Mclaren not doing to well


Fernando Alonso is on track in his McLaren but can only manage 15th with a 1:26.785 - over three seconds off Hamilton's pace.

Stoffel Vandoorne is currently last in the sister car.
 
So what exactly are Ferrari up to in this session?

Kimi Raikkonen now posts his best time on the ultrasofts, but it's a full second adrift of Hamilton's flyer. Is it now Ferrari's turn to sandbag, or are they yet to truly unleash the SF70-H's pace around Albert Park?
