Facebook growing in SA

I personally still use Facebook daily... just got reconnected yesterday actually with some family on my mothers cousins side now also living in Cape Town because of Facebook.

I think its brilliant.
 
Heh, facebook is definately growing, it now accounts for substantial percentage points of traffic coming into the country. I was looking at stats the other day to see where TENET traffic was coming from (which ASN's) and facebook's ASN was consistently in the top 5 traffic wise.

Kinda scary that!

and then the developers of CUIL decides to integrate a social media tool into their search engine, and BAM.. we're awestruck and forget about Facebook almost instantaneously..
 
Unless it's mostly scammers that are joining...

No. Social Networking. Ever wondered what happened to your college friend who moved to Canada 7 years ago? He's probably on Facebook. ;)

Facebook basically connects people who have been "forgotten". It's a great tool to use to keep in touch with people far away. :)
