fastest sim card modem

I'm currently using a Huawei E5573 wifi modem that you put a sim card into and load data onto it. On speedtest I get a download speed of 16.5 Mbps and an upload speed of 5.5 Mbps.

Anyone know what the fastest sim card modem one can get is? Any recommendations and what speeds one can hope to get on Cell C's network, I live in Fourways Johannesburg

I seriously doubt your modem is the issue, as it supports up to 150Mbps.

Cellular speeds are never guaranteed, and are reliant on signal quality, tower, traffic, location and other environmental conditions.

In other words, you don't need a new sim card or modem.

I get up to 70Mbps on CellC and at other times as low as 3Mbps.

If you want consistency, you need a fixed line.
