Favourite Coffee Blend

http://www.terbodorecoffee.co.za/ - Try their "Great Dane" blend
http://www.colombo.co.za/ - Good for single Origin Beans, or green beans if you're into roasting (but you will need to call them for the green beans).

All coffee is roasted on site and is packed within an hour of roasting. This is by far the freshest coffee you can get in South Africa besides for roasting beans yourself! Both roasteries have their own coffee shops which serve excellent coffee. ;)

I only buy certain flavours from them. I normally get coffee from https://www.caffeluxe.com/index.php?route=common/home
Their pricing is good and the pods have not given me any hassles. The only problem is they are pretty useless with customer service and it normally takes around 2 weeks for an order to arrive.
Whom is it that you have these issues with please?
Because I need a good pod supplier.
Just got a Caffeluxe Milano at PnP for R699 and loving my cuppa Joe this morning. :D

How is this any different than just about any other roaster in SA?

Jacobs Krönung :p It's more expensive now  I bought one last week and it cost me around R100. Thank you, Etoll, Zuma and Modise and her failed farm.

i don't drink coffee but the other day some people were talking about Ricoffy and saying how it tastes so good for it just being Chicory.
I am like what the hell are you talking about....

I mean I like my tea but I don't sit around saying hmm these leaves taste awesome you can really taste the blend I think this batch must have gotten an extra dose of sun.

Coffee must mess with people brains, because I know "House of Coffee" drinkers that rave on and on about coffee, you would think they personally picked and ground the beans in the Serranía de Macuira Mountains and milked the rarest goat milk, rather than than drinking something off the self of the local super market.

Normally Douwe Egberts pure gold, but they were out of stock last time I was at PnP so got some Jacobs Kronung. What a disappointment - it's closer to dishwater than coffee. Need two teaspoons of it just to get it to taste decent.

Nescafe Gold is so weak I have to put twice the amount of coffee in the cup. Definitely not buying that again.

I think you missed their point there.

Ricoffy isn't coffee at all.

In fact if you pay attention you'll notice the can doesn't say anything about coffee at all.

I've recently come to the conclusion that buying instant hardly makes sense any more as it pretty much costs the same to just buy pre-ground coffee and do it properly yourself.

I don't really have a brand choice, I like variety too much which is why I have a Nespresso machine, a Mocha pot and a French plunger.

Will probably get an aero press soon as well.

Ricoffy

/throws away flame shield. It's not needed.

edit: I actually do. I'm not willing to fork out more than R50 for coffee. I don't even drink it that much.

Don't drink coffee or tea now. Oh how time has time has changed me.

Woolworths Organic Espresso beans at home and the Mocha Java ground coffee at the office.
I buy the woolies organic expresso beans as well - usually when I'm feeling too lazy to drive to Mastertons. :o

I'm quite enjoying the Importers Blue Mountain at work (can't remember which beans we use for the coffee machine). Need to get myself a plunger so that I can enjoy it at home too.
