Fibre and ADSL/VDSL compatible routers

I want to buy a router which is compatible for Fibre and ADSL connection.

What should I look for?
How can I check if a router is compatible with Fibre connection?
Do you have any suggestions, such as the one you are currently using (including the price) ?
Do all AC routers support fibre?

1. Any router with WAN Ethernet port.
2. Fibre wall switch has an Ethernet port, see #1.
3. Not really for now.
4. Don't know.
