Fibre in Bryanston?

Someone - they said they are from Lungisa telecommunications - is laying fibre in my area. Around Elgin/Constantia roads. Does anyone know more?

Whole lotta trenchin goin on!
A team is laying fibre along Wilton Avenue (East side...) too - but this is the fourth or fifth such fibre cable on our street, and no-one has offered to hook me up yet (not with fibre, anyway).
Vumatel is due to connect up an area loosely described as Bryanston South soon. I guess that definition could include Elgin? Have you checked their website? (http://vumatel.co.za/)

Thanks chaps. Bryasnston is a huge area, our little end of Bryanston is hugged to the N1 to the south west. (Google Maps ). We have abysmal internet - I get, when things are perfect and the line is syncing, just under 1 Mbps. Added to this, we are in a mobile dead zone - poor phone and patchy 3G.

Whoever reaches us first with fibre will be popular.
