Ordered the package and got the router from AH, vuma came the following week (yesterday) to install the line. Everything is perfect except for the actual activation.
I put in the order number from vuma to the Clientzone and it was successful.
Plugged my laptop into the CPE and went to shop.vumatel.co.za to login and select my package. Selected my package and clicked activate.
A while later i got an invoice from AH for next months fibre + pro rata for this month.
Now every site i visit it redirects to the shop.vumatel website, the support agent at AH says i MUST connect the provided router to the CPE, the thing is we are going to use Unfi products really soon so i dont want to open it up then i can resell it for full price.
Do i really need to use a router for vuma to "see the mac address" or will my laptop be ok.
