Fibre: Secunda Community

I don't know what you mean by "adding" Cell C. Cell C is only an ISP with Vumatel as the fibre provider.

Great job on the website, looks awesome. I think it would be good to add a donate button for funds that can be used for ads. Facebook ad with click to website, promotional ad in the Ridge times and maybe some flyers would skyrocket the completed surveys.

I don't know where you got the idea I'm prejudiced. I was referring to the fact that Cell C is not a fibre provider but merely an ISP. It's still Vumatel providing the network so it's useless to approach Cell C with it.

I'm not going to take money from the public. Once people give money it creates expectations. People will start complaining that it's taking too long or it's wasting money etc.

For now I'll pay for what I can. If someone wants to help they can email me and we can discuss personally and make everything clear.

Yes, you can if you want. If you have a sample/draft I can also look at it and provide input.

I am busy trying to get information from newspapers, though it seems like they like to ignore you. I'll have to give them a call again when I have time.
 
Perhaps a newspaper would want to write a story on the process of acquiring fibre for our town-free publicity with an effect greater than an ad.
 
Alternatively, they just unpublished their page. Something that's easy to do and is quite regularly done. I don't know why people see fakebook as the alpha and omega of everything that happens.

Probably because BILLIONS of people world wide use facebook on a daily basis. Word travels through facebook faster than it does on any other form of media. Hell I see sht on Facebook and then two weeks later the news covers it.
 
Dont try ..... make them .... pitch words reliable cheaper internet, no need for a telkom landline anymore, failing copper infrastructure, the future of communication, putting you in the heart of business thousands of miles away, NO LAG FOR GAMING, netflix and showmax downloads in fractions of the time .... we really need to push this as a community

Console players killed the Xbox for me.
