Hi ... wonder if some can help me make a desicion ...

I'm find it hard to make a choice between a Figo Trend 2013 for R103000 (all fees OTR etc included) and the Figo Ambiente 2014 for R106400 (all fees OTR etc included).

The Trend has the extras (Aloh wheels, Elec front windows, adjustable mirrows, central locking, height adjustable drivers seat, front fog lights) where the Ambient does not.

Trend a year older 2013 with 35000km on clock
Ambiente 2014 with about 22000km on clock

So Trend is the higher end model but with more time & km's against it, the Ambiente the more recent with less km but the lower end model ...

Any one able to help on making a choice?

TIA

I have a 2011 Ford Figo Ambiente, with 31000km on the clock never skipped a beat :)

The choice is yours, if you can live without the electric windows and central locking without a remote go for the ambiente. You might still be able to get a motor plan for the 2014 one, ask for the dealership?

I was lucky enough to get mine with service- and motor-plan, 5year/120k km.

EDIT:

Call a few ford dealerships, I got mine for R110k brand new(OTR included), but this was back in 2011.

I personally would go for the higher spec model in this eg.

Most of those extras of higher spec-model are rather handy & make life/driving that bit better.

Mileage & yr difference is marginal...

I'd take the 2013 one. 1 year and 13 000km is not a lot. I'd rather have the higher spec.

I'd choose the trend out of the 2, just don't like a metal looking inside door handles, if they are not real metal but plastic, that's good, won't get blistering hot in SA sun.

I got the trend, well because of the colour coded door handles.

At the time it was R10 000 more on the pricelist, but there was R4000 more discount available on the trend. So actually only R6000 more.

Mileage difference is not a real factor here, I would go for the higher spec model.

If those are the only 2 options, I'd take the 2013 model with slightly higher mileage....

Personally I would never touch either, but if they are your only options then yeah, 2013.
