Got me some nice looking fillet steaks to throw on the grill for supper and feel like a change from the usual - anyone have any ideas for a marinade/seasoning?

Not a major fan of cheddermelts but the missus is. My idea of cheese and steak is a fillet, stuffed with stilton, wrapped in bacon and served with a port wine sauce . . . . but I want to braai tonight.But do a Cheddamelt with it bwana, that never fails... always a winner

4 tblspns brown grape vinegar
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 bay leaf
1 pinch paprika
Marinade in this for 20 minutes. Just before grilling, grind some course salt on both sides, and grill to perfection
