So thanks to splashtop, I'm able to stream the supersport matches from my PC to the Ipad - in a manner of speaking.

For those who don't have splashtop...it's a remote control app that allows you to view & use the PC via the iPad, but it works very well. Much better than any other remote apps I've tried. Cost $4.99 at the app store.

Yay, finally I can watch sport while braaing, or wherever I feel like it. :)

Hi Tosser,

Just curious to know how your Splashtop is holding up with streaming to IPad. I'm thinking of buying the app, but don't want to waste money. Would you recommend it? Is the setup fairly simple?

Set-up is extremely simple. Just install the app on the PC, set a password, amend any firewall rules to allow splashtop access, and you have remote control over the pc.

It's not much different to viewing the picture on the pc - the quality is similar, not great, but good enough to see whats going on. I used the drifta once, and it's also very simular in quality to that.

In my opinion, the R50 bucks or so is worth it - I can sit outside by the fire and not miss the game whilst doing the braai.

You can also stream straight to your iPad using Photon flash player.
Works like a browser. Just enable flash by pressing the lightning button and stream straight from Supersport.com.
So now you can watch rugby at that wedding your wife is making you go to.

If only they could inprove the quality of the stream, it is absolutely terrible. It's barely 360p.

Glad it's working on the iPad though.
