Fired for racist Facebook remarks

Suddenly because I was defending whites and pointing out the racism being shown by people of colour I was labelled a racist and threatened. But I'm white, so I "deserve" it apparently. And apparently being called a white ***** is acceptable. Now if I had responded and called him a k*ffir you'd no doubt be reading about me in the paper... Double standards!

Countless times I have heard coloureds call black people the dreaded K word. Many many times. Then the black dude just goes 'hey fck jou' and mumbles something.

I also compltely agree! It is a very one sided thing....its quite sad really..surely we should move forward, and a nation I think many of us are wanting to, but then we have that "racism" against "whites" and nothing is said...like WTF! so much for equality, thats what we all want !!

The above comments just show it more! It really is double standards!! Why is "okay" when a black person is "racist" towards a white person?? Where is the justification....

If I slap you, I figure you can slap me back. But if I slap you and get told of for what I have done and then you slap me back and no one bat's an eye....surely there is something wrong there!

What's worse is that often the chattering twitterati out for someone's blood because they said something rude or insensitive are themselves very often white. Many of them even seem to have delusions of being liberals. We see this all the time with incidents in the UK. They literally want the person's life destroyed because they're white and said something mean about people who are not white, that's how illiberal they are.

So, using this as example can I ask my company for a after-hours retainer fee? What rate could one ask for?

If I'm going to be judged as an employee on what I do on my own time, I need to be suitably compensated for being an after-hours agent of the company finish & klaar.

It's an interesting question 'çoz if I have to constantly worry about expressing my opinions outside of working hours then shouldn't I be paid something for that time?

Yup....

A taxi driver clipped my passenger side mirror one morning on the way to work, and he properly kakked himself when i blocked him off, got out my car and was storming across to bliksem him.. never seen a taxi reverse that fast and disappear into traffic.

Yeah, also, firing someone is likely to ruin their life. That is not appropriate punishment for uttering a hated word.
