I dropped Firefox in favour of Chrome when speed and memory leaks became an issue, even though FF is more stable for flash. I've just downloaded the latest version and am totally happy to report that it's lightning fast again - perhaps even faster than Chrome. And it appears to be behaving much better than Chrome on FaceBook for one. Anyone else using the new version? What do you think?

Your URL, she's not working.

I'm on 23.0.1 - it doesn't feel *lightening* quick to me, and it uses a ton of memory...... but i'm used to it and it's addons, so I use it.

Same here, nothing much feels different about it. Sometimes when Firefox is closed, and i try open it again, it tells me it wont open because there is a process of Firefox already running....I go check it out to see it using 500MB of RAM and that's not the worst.....worst I have had was Firefox using up 1.8GB RAM on its own :wtf:

I'm using it on my work notebook and it's not bad, definitely not ultra smooth.

Mostly wanted it for the FireFTP built-in FTP client, which is cool.

But if you want to experience THE smoothest web browsing experience ever, it will be Chrome 29 + SmoothScroll extention (use the iPhone profile).

Nothing comes close, not even IE10 with hardware acceleration and smooth scrolling enabled. ;)

I don't like smoothscroll... maybe I'm just old fashioned but it feels snappier with it disabled

Firefox for vimperator.

If they can get that for chrome i would be really happy. :)

Chrome is ok if you have less tabs than horizontal screen space.

But Firefox plus tabmixplus is where it's at

Been using firefox at home for as long as I remember and chrome at work, but uninstalled chrome for firefox after numerous hangs and music streaming fails. Firefox is working brilliantly so far. On beta at home and stable at work. No noticeable difference in performance though. And I like my firetox addons...

FF still giving more carp than Chrome with myBB but still way more stable than chrome with flash items

But isn't that been disabled for the last few months, ie add-on not updated/not compatible

I could never get used to Chrome. Have tried several times. Firefox is the center of my universe for now. :D

+1 the only thing that is starting to push me to chrome is the integration into google's platform.

I was a firefox fan for ages until they broke it. Now that Im used to chrome I cant go back to firefox.
I never have crashes or some of the weird behaviour mentioned above in chrome and it sync my bookmarks to my phone and desktop at home.
