For those of you IE users, get FF now.

i never really bothered with the whole "you can install lots and lots of addons" thingy because I thought surfing was about the website, and not about the browser. i had some problems with IE opening a "new window" so decided to try FF since google chrome downloaded, but then the installation just disappears!

Boy was I wrong!! FF rulez, LOL, yes make fun of me, I know i'm a bit slow....lol

but seriously - if you think "meh...IE works ok..." try FF3 - it's fast - even faster than chrome, and is really lightweight on CPU. (7 mb for install too)

anyone try the "cooliris" addon? whew - that thing is the Shizniz!

luv the way addons install - quick and easy!

Cooliris is an amazing addon, I agree.

But it's just the tip of the iceberg! :D I've got my browser EXACTLY the way I want it, all with the help of a few nifty addons. I loves me my fox.

Holy fark! i see if i spell something wrong in MyBB's box, if you r-click on it it gives you suggestions! woooooot! :eek:

ok ok so what addons have u "FF pros" discovered? ive got:

Webmail notifier (notify's me of new yahoo mail)
1-click weather (weather forecast)
cooliris (the best - I like!)
stumbleupon of course...

There's a thread about it, search this section, it'll pop up.
 
I found IEtab to be quite useful :) For those sites that were made for internet explorer so don't display properly in firefox (like the iburst site doesn't show full usage in firefox)

Never bothered with extensions much except for 'imglikeopera' to save me bandwidth.

The novelty of extensions wore off for me after 2 years of constant bandwidth hogging for updates and slow start-up times.

Welcome to civilization, Keeper :p

I only have Adblock Plus, Better Gmail 2 and DownThemAll! installed at the moment.
 
You should check out Mozilla Minefield, if you think Firefox is fast... woweee!
Just beware tho, most people can install this and have it running along with the regular FF3. Unfortunately, my install keeps over-writing my FF3 :(
You'd wanna keep both cos Minefield doesn't support add-ons yet

Minefield is just the development version of firefox, the next update will be minefield so I'd rather just wait for firefox 3.1.
