First election results in

Not according to him but then again he supports the ANC so........no surprises

You're mistaking me for someone else. I most certainly don't support the ANC. I am a DA supporter and member.
Maybe you're confusing me not blindly hating the ANC with supporting the ANC. I can see that must be confusing

In marine's mind anyone remotely critical of the DA must be a hard-line ANC brain-dead zombie. Which begs the question how we should be classifying him.

Die moot in Pretoria (high density DA area) and Soweto still needs to come in, we still can't make anything out of Gauteng.

I'm glad on the national level zooma & his cronies have been stuck at just above 60 and fluctuating thereabout, seems it's not so easy to get the 66.6 they want. fingers crossed

Criticizing the only hope for change, despite any shortcomings therein and with failure to look at the bigger picture, is about the most retarded and useless thing anyone can do. I would blindly follow hope for a better future any day, and subsequently vote against my initial decision should it prove wrong. There is a difference. I don't know marine1 and can't vouch for his posts and what you're referring to, but that is my personal motivation for defending the DA vehemently. It isn't about the bloody DA but about our future.

Thus anyone against the DA in my mind is a waste of space. Not because of the DA but because of our future. This, in my mind, is and has been our renewed struggle in this country for a while now.

Unfortunately I now look around me in the street with pity and disgust at my fellow countrymen who I no longer wish to associate with. If the feeling is mutual then GOOD! No more fscks will be given by me for their injustices and excuses.

They don't particularly want 66.6%. They want a number that is similar to last time, or better. Neither of which is going to happen
