Looking for a solution with high upload speeds.
True unlimited/uncapped.
Will be used purely for streaming 24/7, nothing else.
Will LTE-A hardware also support normal LTE (futureproofing)?
Business & home solutions are fine, whichever works best.

I tried calling Telkom business but they can't sell water in a desert, guy kept reading of their site, talked a lot of useless crap and could not answer my question.

You're lucky....

Got a letter (yes in the post box!) from Telkom today stating that I'm in an area serviced by old access technology and that they will be discontinuing my current service and providing me with a fixed line look a like service shortly. Oh ja.... with a free fax service thrown in for good measure.

Now this would not be a problem for me if I was residing in the sticks and being impacted by high faults or cable theft.

But I am smack bang in the middle of PE within walking distance of the Parsons Hill DSSU exchange where there is a mix of DSLAMs, IMAXs, ISAMs and which is the first area in PE where Telkom are offering FTTH.

:wtf:

I assume you have a pre-paid land line for voice? Since Telkom is currently replacing those...

You know to much. Now they have given it to your neighbours. :D

Last year Telkom indicated on there map, still FTH.
This year ADSL and LTE. Switched over to LTE. To far from the exchange.
