Paid extra to upgrade WORLD TRAVELLER PLUS, with BA from cpt to heathrow.

Hoping this was worth R8000 :P

Anybody flew that route recently? Seems they using A350

Earlier in the year I flew on the A350 up the way but it was (iirc) a 777 coming back.

A350 is super nice and they are very quiet. I wasn't on it on these flights, but WT Plus seats are a bit bigger and more room makes it nice and more comfy. Not sure if it's 8 grand nice though :p

Depends on if it is the new conversion or old seating but world travel plus is ok, seats are slightly bigger and you get a foot rest with slightly larger armrests between the seats as well, but you still get the same old media box shoved under some of the chairs (which takes up foot room) and can be an annoyance but if you get a window seat you should be ok.

It is not bad but not great

If its the new business class then that is ok with all seats having direct aisle access, but the last time I flew British Airways (wont fly them again) they still had the old business class where you had to walk past someone to access the window seat. OK if you a couple but if you flying alone not really much privacy for business class.

Not a big fan of BA anymore they gone down the tube (excuse the pun)
 
The flight is short enough that I wouldn't pay for a upgrade unless you have a critical business meeting on the day you land. And even then I'd think twice.

BA sucks as an airline. Wont ever fly with them. Sorry. I probably spoiled your day.

They were having a scandal the other day, they didnt have food so gave everyone a KFC chicken piece, and on another flight 8 hours of no food.

Next time fly Emirates or Qatar instead. Even Lufthansa wouldve been a big improvement.

Yep only 12 hours, i also managed to change the dates for free as they canceled my 1st booking. So now I get to fly on the more expensive dates with my inlaws . The inlaws are probably upgrading also, which allow them to look after my daughter, and I get to sleep hopefully lol
 
Premium Economy is nice, but it's not R8k nice.
