How dare they upset a Private wealth client.Extremely frustrating even for private wealth clients
No, but seriously... @epah .How dare they upset a Private wealth client.
I agree, but if you are so unhappy, move on over to capitec, unlike goverment services where you are forced to pay whether you like it or not, with private companies you get to choose who gets your money. No, but seriously... @epah .
I thought your comebacks sounded like those of an FNB employee, but if you were an employee, you would be smart enough to know that private wealth is a battleground for banks and you wouldn't be insulting them. It costs a significant amount to acquire one wealth customer, and the margins on their peripheral activity are why you have a dedicated Pvt Wealth offering.
The point is that no matter who you are if you pay for a service, you should expect to get that service. Sit tight, and don't complain, "You're the stupid one, Mr. Customer". These are all things you expect from a government service, not a Service Provider. you pay to provide you with a... service.
Never had issues either, 10 years I have been with FNB and never had an issue, probably only needed the call centres/chat agents help a total of 3 times in those 10 years, everything else I can solve myself on the App. SO not sure what the issue is here. But then we also got a front end dev get scammed like he is some 95 year old who has no idea how tech works, so I am not surprised by these okes here.Let me partake in a bit of Friday violence.....Most techies on this Forum can't use banking apps, more so the FNB one which is a bit more advanced than the rest. Why is it some of us never experience most of these problems?

Rude+epah is right, go with another bank, a proper one, not this clown show called FNB.
The irony dripping from this entire statement is beautiful.Never had issues either, 10 years I have been with FNB and never had an issue, probably only needed the call centres/chat agents help a total of 3 times in those 10 years, everything else I can solve myself on the App.
No you just want to bash FNB.The irony dripping from this entire statement is beautiful.
Didn't it occur to you that maybe it's pretty much exactly the same for everyone else here?
I've tried that. Doesn't work. I've been making small payments from my unverified browser session for almost 4 weeks now and the session remains unverified. If I log into my smartphone app or my verified browser session on my old laptop and go the section where they list the verified devices, the unverified browser does not even appear in the list of unverified devices.
FNB , hope you are reading this
had fraudulent transactions on my cheque card this morning (weird since card has never been used online -> hank you ebucks / virtual cards), and is in a wallet that I strictly use as backup -> ie card has not touched a machine for months.
tried secure chat support -> 18 minutes later -> keeps directing me to a new agent every few minutes without progress. and I need to scroll manually down on the app all the time to see if a new message arrived. FFS
call the support line. Helped within 2 minutes.
broken secure chat is not a tool that a financial institution should even consider!>!>!
You got helped on their support line? Jirre you lucky!! Seeing that 99% of their staff is marketing staff, reaching support staff within 2 minutes of calling them, is like finding a four leaf clover in the Namib desert.FNB , hope you are reading this

if i was placed into a holding queue, then I would have probably accepted it NOT "you have been assigned to person X, who is looking into your request, and will respond shortly,"I doubt they have staff 24/7 on secure chat. Its weekend. But glad you phoned and got help
yup must agree, I was lucky to get support (but I assume that credit fraud is the only line they have open on weekends/sundays.You got helped on their support line? Jirre you lucky!!
