FNB Fusion

I think the one account was converted to fusion, so guess i'll just close the credit card.

If there is a credit balance on the credit card you’ll need to ask them to transfer it or settle it so it’s squared off.

Then you ask them to close it.

I couldn't close an account online. I went in to the branch. Granted this was in 2016 or so.

And my memory grows fuzzy, but they may have just put me on the phone with HQ, main reason I go in to the branch in cases like that is so that I don't need to spend 45 minutes of my own airtime on the phonecall.

I’ve never needed to call them either.

I log the case and they call me, if it can’t all be handled electronically that is.

I think you can call them through the app now with VOIP, but not sure.

You've been quite lucky then.

Mind you, in my own personal capacity I haven't really had much need to interact with the bank, it's only really been for my (non-SA-citizen) wife.

I walked in to open accounts some 5+ years ago no to open an account and I’ve never seen the inside of a branch since.

But I can be insistent like that.
 
how long does it take to receive the 1000 ebucks sign up bonus?

I am aware of the points.
By the way, 1000 points every month is much better than 1000 ebucks once off, just thought you get both.
