FNB now charging for notifications

I left FNB for a number of reasons. I miss some of the nice features of the online banking, but I've come to find satisfaction in knowing I don't have to put up with that crap. Nedbank FTW

Yeah it's coming at us from all sides. Something fun with Absa; they send an SMS every time you log in. The first 20 are free and after that they charge 60c each.. I haven't found a way to turn it off.. I can understand that it's for security, but surely then it should be free.. Or at least more than 20 free ones per month..

With all the 2010 advertising they doing, I'm surprised they not building the fscking stadiums themselves!

They have always charged to send out a payment notification on your behalf, so it has not changed.

I have banked with them forever, since the Bob Jnr and Bob T days.

I have also just moved over to the unlimited pricing option at R66.00 and I love it like that.

Prefer their internet banking interface to all the others.
