Likewise, the number they gave me to confirm is 0860 102 970 + option 6 + 4 to go straight to agent.Gonna try again now.

With our beloved ZAR performing as well as it is lately, who knows what they will cost in a month's time, let alone end of the year.
 
When you order a device, it wont show up immediately under accounts. It only show up there about 1-2 months later after FNB started deducting the money.

For example I ordered a tablet in November 2013. Payments only started going off at the end of January 2014. The device only showed up under smart devices on 3rd of February 2014.

So take a chill pill, and wait for FNB to call you up to confirm the device order.

Damn you for telling us that!!!! Now its even more tempting .... must resist ... must resist. I so want this to play my BF4 as I'm tired of 20 players on a map

Just seems like an annoying procedure? I'm sure there will be people who accidentally place a second order due to lack of feedback?
 
Biggest question is what will the price be 2 months from now for the PS4 system most likely R400 p/m. What discount is that?

Not sure what they call the discount, but I'm getting R50 a month "refund" on my device payment since I ordered the iPad2 years ago. So I was paying R200 per month and then got R50 the next day. It's a kind of reward thing I think depending on what account you have and money you spend with them.
 
wish i was a private client , they get up to 100% back in ebucks on there installment :(

I got a friend who works at steekinekor, he 'organised' me a brand new one, sealed unit for 4grand, just console and one controller. Deal of a lifetime.

Especially she finds out it cant play CD's, mp3's, movies from a hard drive/usb key, 3D BluRays (no biggie, but still) or use any of the existing universal remotes.

It's a brilliant gaming console, but know that that is all it is at this point - they severely hobbled the media functions

Pls post more info, I just upgraded to the gold cheque account but the person told me i qualify for platinum, but i declined that.

You need spend on your credit card to get the discount.

R2000 swipes on a gold credit and 5000 on a platinum.
