Yeah, that's almost 3 months old, and it only mentions CD/mp3 playback. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they don't enable video capability.

And I don't know who Yoshida thinks he's bullschitting by feigning 'surprise' at the fan reaction.

People will no doubt start bitching about that and external hard drives too.

Doesn't really affect me though, I use a dedicated media player that will play virtually everything - something that past and current consoles were bizarrely never really good at.

Yep, I guess.

I really don't get why they don't give these things proper, streamlined media player functionality. It would make them almost a no-brainer for me. I don't get around to playing games as much anymore, so if I could still use it for my media needs then I wouldn't feel as guilty about buying it. :p

Yup no more available, I finally found out the status of my order, sitting with ITC checks.I should get a call by the latest tomorrow, but i cant freaking wait any longer.

How did you do that, phoned the helpdesk?
 
Just going to copy paste my post from the MyGaming thread.

I just got off the phone with FNB. The guy says they are in the process of downloading and processing all the applications today and they will notify the clients as soon as they're done. He recommended I phone back around 3pm or tomorrow morning if I don't want wait for the notification. He also said that I had a very good chance of being within the 100 as I ordered around 12:30.
 
I just received this SMS:

"FNB :-) Thank you for your smart device application Sony Playstaion 4 500 GB Bundle (2x Wireless Controllers + Knack + Injustice UE), which is currently being processed and we will advise you of the outcome shortly. FNB a div of FRB Ltd."
 
Another update, got a phone call confirming everything, been sent for final processing whatever that means.ETA is next week ffs :(
 
I also received the sms confirmation... But no phone calls as of yet...
