I see that FNB/RMB has upgraded their shares to a stockbroking platform. Has anyone used it yet?

I use a FNB Share Investor account and I haven't seen/heard anything to this effect. FNB did purchase BJM a while back, which became FNB Securities, which is a separate stockbroking platform (not the same as FNB Share Builder or FNB Share Investor which forms part of your internet banking profile), if this is what you are referring to?

Yes, I mean it is a whole new platform seperate to that of the share builder and share investor.

I have 2 others pending today, I am also using the option to limit the amount that I am willing to pay per share and the number of shares, testing that option.

How does this work? I've been buying at prevailing market prices. But I see some guys put in offers to purchase at the price they want.
