FNB Share Saver

Any Idea how I draw the cash out of share saver?

but the money is in "balance" and not "available balance"

I also struggled after a sale earlier this year (timed it to perfection too, weird). Had to phone them and ask what's happening.

Is it possible to invest in non-TFSA Share Saver shares? Can't really find the option on FNB online, can't find the option to open Share Builder or Share investor either...

Can someone please explain when you buy a share at R6.80 it says I paid R9.20 pershare?

Why would you pay more if you are trying to invest? Surely a fault?

The other fixed and variable costs of the buying process divided per share, thus what it cost you to actually buy them. The more you buy, the less that will be per share.

Ok thanks. Do you know what is the break even amount to buy to get to that price?

Looking at your shares daily will drive you insane unless you like that sort of thing .
On Monday all of mine had ended positively but by the end of trading on Tuesday back in the minus .
On the positive side of things My Kruger Rands which had been dropping quite badly since I first purchased them have now exceeded the original purchase price which makes up for what I lost on shares .
I am in it for the long term and looking at the past 5 year performance of my shares they should earn quite well .

The choice to take this as my TFSA is really biting me in the ass. ;_;

I don't even want to know what some people are getting with ETFSA.

Yip.. I'm waiting for the share transfer thing to kick in for TFSA and then i'm moving those funds from there.. best case seems to be 0% my EE one is like 18% :D

I was thinking the other day that I should move the bulk of my investments in it to something else. I'm all for riding out the storm but it has been going nowhere for quite some time now. Was doing pretty good a year or so ago, up until May last year :/

Let's say hypothetically the Rand devalues rapidly (I'm talking hundreds of Rands to the dollar). Would shares in trackers like DBXWD and DBXUS withstand that? (i.e. be worth the same value then as it is now). If so, then that seems like the easiest way to hedge without moving cash offshore, correct?
