FNB uncapped ADSL: 80% discount planned

Silver is entry-level is it is unlikely they will enjoy these benefits. Platinum generally has better benefits than Gold so this will almost certainly apply to them as well.

What's the source of this as I'd really like to see the new platinum benefits

Very interesting. I have a bond and credit card with fnb. Might consider moving my account if this is worth while.

Will wait for further details.

This is good and all, but will only lead to one thing, congestion... 80% discount means anyone can get a 4Mbps uncapped account for less than what you would pay for a 2Mbps account, meaning more congestion on our non congested exchanges.

I didn't even know they had uncapped, I thought they were selling those 1995-level capped accounts only. Worth checking out if this is true.

I don't want to have to carry 'nuisance cards', (Clicks & Pick n Pay etc), I don't want holidays or competitions from my Medical Aid scheme, I don't want techie trinkets from my bank etc etc. In short, don't take my money from me in the first place, then give some of my own money back to me as if you are doing me a favour – never mind the fact that I must return to you again & again. I realise you are dealing with unsophisticated, gullible consumers in South Africa, but please, just give me service excellence at a reasonable price. Leave some of my money in my pocket. I am quit capable of spending it on what I desire, myself!

^^^WTF are you on about?

I want to see more details about this cos it sounds massively interesting.

You may consider them nuisance cards... but yesterday we paid for most of the table wine for our upcoming wedding with our pick n pay smart shopper points accumulated over a few months.

How do the fuel and airtime points work? What is the percentage based on?

Then Capitec is for you :)

Very little fees, and clearly defined fees, you know exactly what you will pay and when.

As an added bonus you are immune to sim-swop scams :D
