Have one for about 8 months now and loving it. Awesome power from that 1.0T and very fuel efficient. I have the auto version. Would have loved paddle shifters over the switch on the gear level.

Sorry forgot to mention I have the Fiesta Ecoboost and not the Ecosport. A friend of mine has the Ecoport and the only complaint she has is that she feels it abit unstable at high speed, when asked whats high speed I was told 180KMPH.

My 1.5 is fine at 170kph - even through sharp bends........

The Fiesta as well is stable at high speed, would be nice if they added a traction control button somewhere easily accessible rather than going via the SNYC system.
Definitely, if the price is right

Not sure on the ecosport but the Fiesta its crystal clear - but I have the volume turned up really high on the calls.

It should still be under warranty - would have been serviced around 20 000Km - I am sure you can have the history checked out at the dealer with the VIN number
If mileage, price and warranty are 100%, you can't go wrong. They are scarce secondhand, but there are some available on Autotrader.

January 2015 I bought my wife the Ecosport Ambiente via a Ford Credit deal for R190k + R5k onroad costs (read stealer snake oil) = R195k. I settled in January this year so own the car outright.
Out of interest, I stopped by a mate who runs a used car lot and asked him what he would give me for the Ecosport which is mint and has 16000km on the clock after just over 19 months of use. "R175k right now as I have 3 buyers looking for one". I asked him what he would be able to sell it for. "R195k" he answered.
That, folks, is astounding resale value for a Ford. And no, I didn't take the money

Yip, definitely has helped. New car prices have increased so rapidly, that depreciation has not fallen as fast as usual.

Hope you do want to sell it in 2 years time...
I know you do. I got pricing on the extended warranty last week. Current warranty is 4yr/120 000km. It will cost me R5620incl to extend the Ford SA warranty to 6yrs/200 000km. That to me is a bargain for an extra 2yrs peace of mind. I don't mind paying for the 5th and 6th annual service out of my pocket but I refuse to drive a car out of warranty and be exposed to groot $$ k@k....
